Looks like Tecmo’s surprise game announcement scheduled for March 24 has been spoiled by Famitsu. Scans of the magazine’s latest issue have hit the web, revealing that Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is in development for PS3.
No details yet, but if the first Sigma outing was any indication, expect this to be an enhanced port of Xbox 360 title Ninja Gaiden II with a few minor additions. Also, considering the first Sigma was also released only on PS3, it’s very possible this will be a platform exclusive. Former series director Itagaki must not be very happy with the decision to go PS3, taking his disdain towards the platform into account.
