Developer Media Molecule is working on a “Game of the Year” edition of last year’s hit world-creation title LittleBigPlanet. MCV reports that the repackaged PS3 title will sport “much” of the downloadable content already released on PSN thus far.

There’s been oodles of DLC released since LittleBigPlanet’s inception, so even including just a third of it on disc would serve as a great value to newcomers. It also makes sense, seeing as sales for the title didn’t quite match up with the glowing review scores. With a rumored PS3 Slim right around the corner, this move may give LittleBigPlanet a well-deserved boost in retail sales.
