Naughty Dog and PlayStation just announced that Uncharted 3 will be receiving a multiplayer beta starting on June 28th of this year. The beta will be open to everyone with early access being given to PlayStation Plus members and those that pre-ordered inFamous 2. No details were given on how long the beta will last or when it will start for those getting early access.
There will be a number of changes in regards to multiplayer from its predecessor. Players will now be able to customize their character and weapons, join into games already in progress, play split-screen online and play in some new game modes. Free for All will finally make an appearance as well as a 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 deathmatch mode. You can read more about the beta and changes on the official PlayStation blog.
