Thompson Blames NIU Campus Shooting On Video Games
by February 15, 2008 @ 1:13 pm

Florida lawyer and anti video game violence advocate Jack Thompson appeared on a Fox News (how surprising) segment earlier today, discussing a possible link between violent video games such as Counter Strike and 27-year-old graduate Steven Kazmierczak, who claimed the lives of five fellow students and then himself in a shooting rampage yesterday at Northern Illinois University.
Of course, it’s Thompson up to his usual antics again. No evidence found has suggested that video games were the cause of this tragedy. In fact, reports suggest the contrary. According to a school official, namely NIU campus Police Chief Donald Grad, Kazmierczak had been acting erratically the past few weeks and was not taking his prescribed medication.
