Citing a quote from KZ2 and KZ3 senior producer Steven Ter Heide, EDGE reports that Guerrilla Games is working on a new KZ title — specifically referred to as a Killzone follow-up. No further details were provided.
Interestingly, an earlier EDGE report mentioned that one of Sony’s first-party studios had ceased PS3 development in favor of the upcoming PS4. It’s possible that Guerrilla could be that developer. If that’s the case, given the studio’s pedigree of maxing out console hardware, we can’t wait to see what Guerrilla will do with more hardware grunt at their disposal.
