The house of Fallout and Elder Scrolls is already setting its sights on the next-generation of console hardware. A job listing on the official website of Bethesda parent ZeniMax reveals that the studio is hiring “unannounced game on future-generation consoles.”
No further details were spared, only that it’ll leverage “cutting-edge technology.” Requirements call for at least 5 years of game development experience, adding that DirectX11 experience is “a plus.”
Last June, Bethesda vice president Pete Hines expressed interest in backing the Wii U, noting that the company was “waiting on tech specs.”
We’ve already seen how jaw-dropping Skyrim can look with mods, but with the baseline raised, it’ll be exciting to see what Bethesda can do with more hardware grunt at their disposal.
