Tomba! Now Available on PSN, So Go Play It!

We’ve been talking about Tomba! for several weeks now, and the reason for that is because, well, the game was pretty awesome when it debuted on the original PlayStation back in 1998, and it’s fun talking about awesome games. Sadly, despite the fact that the charming 2D platformer received a ton of critical praise, it only managed to sell moderately well.

Hopefully that changes with the release of Tomba! on the PlayStation Network. The game joins a growing list of revered favorites, and it is available now for $9.99. Not a bad price when you consider how expensive an original copy is priced at on Amazon. In case you’re wondering, that value is $62. Yeah, I think I’ll stick with this $10 download.

I never played Tomba! when I was a kid because I was more of a Nintendo 64 dude myself, but now that I’m getting a second chance, I’ll definitely be dropping the coins for this one. Hopefully it gets enough fan support to convince developer MonkeyPaw Games to port Tomba! 2 over to the PlayStation Network.
