Non-Shocker: Assassin’s Creed 3 PC Delayed
by Mike Bendel on June 22, 2012 @ 1:18 pm

File this one under non-shocker: word from Eurogamer is the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 has been pushed back to November 23. It’s worth pointing out that the revised date was revealed by way of a promotional image published in the Czech Republic. So, while the release date may not apply to all regions, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar delay for North America if history is any indication.
For some bizarre reason, Ubisoft has quite the habit of issuing a delay to the PC versions of its titles months after the initial announcement. If this happened only a few times it’d be easily understandable — setbacks happen, but at this point it seems like they’re getting PC gamers hopes up for nothing. Why not be upfront about it from day one? Most folks would probably be a lot more understanding.
At any rate, a 3 and a half week delay isn’t that bad, PC faithful. The console versions drop on October 30 in the US.
