Developer thatgamecompany has confirmed that it is working on Journey Collector’s Edition. The news first broke when an image from a magazine popped up on NeoGAF. When asked about its validity, thatgamecompany tweeted, “Yes, the #JourneyPS3 Collector’s Edition is a thing, and it includes #flOwPS3 and #FlowerPS3, but we can’t say anything more.”
I predict soundtracks! Thatgamecompany is known for creating experiences that are not only a visual treat, but a true joy to listen to. This was most recently evidenced in Journey, which featured a rich collection of themes that ranged from emotional to serene to powerful.
With thatgamecompany keeping the whole thing under wraps, it should be interesting seeing everything Journey Collector’s Edition will feature. The inclusion of Flow and Flower is certainly awesome news, but what else can we expect when the compilation hits retailers? Oh, in addition to my previous prediction, I would also like to add that an art book would be cool.
Also, a poster … and developer video diaries. OK, I’m done.
