I haven’t really read up on Dyad all that much, but after checking out the game’s latest trailer, I have to say I’m pretty darn intrigued. The game is being touted as an “abstract racing” experience, and it certainly seems to fit that description properly.
The new trailer for Dyad (which you can watch above) features a mix of pretty music and colors. As long as we’re talking about stuff that’s pretty, there’s also a pretty girl who pops up frequently, staring at the game with an amazed/dazed/hypnotized look in her eyes.
Dyad looks to be a fresh racing experience that will offer unique gameplay not really seen in the genre. Just by looking at the trailer alone, I’d say it’s the type of game that takes some getting used to, but it may just provide a memorable experience for fans of downloadable titles.
Dyad will launch next week on the PlayStation Network for $14.99, and PlayStation Plus members will receive a 20 percent discount upon purchase. Watch out for it on July 17.
