The downloadable action game, Malicious, has been available in Japan for just under two years now, but it has officially been announced for North America. As announced on the PlayStation Blog, the game will be coming to the PlayStation Network on July 24. That’s just under two weeks away, you guys!
Malicious is a 3D action game that allows players to choose stages in any order they please. So rather than tackling level after level, you’ll get to decide which area you want to traverse and which boss you want to defeat as you see fit. It’s an interesting approach, and one we don’t see very often in straight-up action games.
Several positive reviews of the Japanese and European versions of the game have trickled onto the good ol’ internet over the past couple of years, so it looks like Malicious will definitely appeal to gamers. Watch out for it within the next few weeks when it hits the PlayStation Network for $9.99. No word on whether we’ll get the Vita version like Japan, but that would certainly be pretty cool.
