Download Site Playism Brings More Indie Games to North America

Steam. GOG.com. Indievania. Desura. These sites, along with so many others, have often provided indie game aficionados with plenty of memorable titles. Well, you can now add one more digital distribution site to the list, because the English Playism site has officially arrived.

So you say you already have a couple of trusted sites where you get all your indie games, eh? Well, here’s a little tidbit of information for ya: Playism will bring games we’ve never seen in North America before. I’m talking awesome Japanese indie games! Case in point: The WiiWare version of the indie hit La-Mulana will never be released on North American Wii consoles, but you can snag the same remake (albeit for PC) through Playism!

If you’re into indie games or are in the market for some sweet downloadable titles, check out the new Playism site. There are even a couple of cool-looking free games on there. Really, how could you argue with that price?
