LA to Continue Hosting E3 Until 2015

In a press release sent out earlier this morning, the Entertainment Software Association confirmed that E3 would continue to take place in Los Angeles through 2015. This addresses previous news that the massive gaming trade show would possibly be moved from the LA Convention Center.

In addition to that announcement, E3 2013 was confirmed to take place from June 11 to June 13 “at the Los Angeles Convention Center, L.A. LIVE and a plethora of venues throughout downtown Los Angeles and the City.” While the whole “plethora of venues” thing may seem confusing to some folks, it should be noted that E3 usually does take place in different locations, usually due to the press conferences … and all the parties.

I’m kind of glad that LA will continue to be the home of E3 for the next few years because, well, I live here, which means a 35-minute drive and no hotel fees. Yay!
