Dude Says, ‘Screw Sleep,’ Gets 1,000,000 Coins in NSMB2 in Three Days

Sometimes you just have to admire when people do ridiculous things in a video game … or in this case, for a video game. Apparently, YouTube user Nintendomination (awesome name, by the way) figured he’d set an impressive record by collecting one million coins in New Super Mario Bros. 2

… in three days.

The dude totally opted out of sleeping for three straight days to achieve this goal. Insanity! Check out the video of this amazing (?) feat and watch the spectacle for yourself.

What did Nintendomination receive for his troubles? A cool new title screen! Yep, that’s it. I guess it’s more about the personal gratification than the actual in-game reward. I mean, when you really think about it, a new title screen is no different than some points on your Gamerscore or a two percent increase on your PlayStation Network level.

Congrats to Nintendomination! Now get some sleep, dude!
