Sony Announces All-New PlayStation Collections

Sony previously announced that Ratchet & Clank Collection would bring the popular series to the PlayStation 3 with revamped HD visuals and Trophy support. The compilation is due out at retailers and through the PlayStation Network on August 28, but Sony has just revealed that it won’t be the only collection it releases in the near future. Nope, the company has some other collections planned.

An announcement on the PlayStation Blog indicated that Sony would be launching God of War Saga and inFamous Collection alongside Ratchet & Clank Collection. God of War Saga will include all five current games in the series, as well as “exclusive bonus content” and a one-month PlayStation Plus trial. As for inFamous Collection, that bundle will feature both entries in the franchise, the Festival of Blood DLC, extra missions, bonus costumes, and additional power-ups.

Prices will range for each of the collections. According to Sony, prices will start at $29.99. We already knew Ratchet & Clank Collection was sporting a $29.99 price tag, and I think it’s safe to assume that inFamous Collection will cost that much, too. God of War Saga, however, might be a bit pricier due to its inclusion of five titles.
