Assassin’s Creed 3 on PS3 Will Include an Hour of Extra Content

A shot of the box art for the PlayStation 3 version of Assassin’s Creed 3 has revealed that the game will feature one hour of bonus content on Sony’s home console. The game’s box art surfaced on Amazon UK, and it clearly states that the PlayStation 3 version of Ubisoft’s upcoming action-adventure title will include “60 minutes of exclusive gameplay.”

According to Joystiq, this bonus content is the exclusive DLC that Ubisoft promised back at E3. In other words, this isn’t extra content beyond what gamers were expecting. But hey, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, 60 minutes of bonus gameplay is awesome any way you spin it.

So, if you’re a multiplatform gamer, which version are you getting? An extra hour of content could provide some great gameplay and memorable moments. I know which version of Assassin’s Creed 3 I’ll be purchasing.

I can't imagine what type of shitstorm ubi is going to get from non-PS3 players.

Don't care, I'm immensely offended by the massive anti-British sentiment throughout this whole game.

Just kidding, don't care really. Lost interest in the AC series after the first one. I really enjoyed it but I didn't feel compelled to play the second one. Is there any aspect of the spinoffs from AC2 that would be necessary to appreciate the story in AC3?
