3DS: Paper Mario and Layton Dated, Luigi’s Mansion Pushed Back

Some launch date info for various 3DS titles has been revealed via a recent press release from Nintendo. Paper Mario: Sticker Star will be launching on the dual screen handheld on November 11. This will mark the fourth entry in the Paper Mario series of RPGs, and the first time the franchise has appeared on a portable platform.

In addition to Sticker Star, the next chapter in Level-5’s popular puzzle series has also been dated. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is due out on October 28. Umm, is it still too late for me to get into that series? Aside from these two highly anticipated games, other titles have been given either exact release dates or vague launch windows. The list includes games such as Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion (November 18) and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (eShop, Q4).

Now for the bad news. I know you were all looking forward to Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, which was set to launch during the upcoming holiday season, but that won’t be happening anymore. Instead, you can watch out for the game sometime during the “first half of 2013.” I predict a March launch, but that’s just a blind prediction with absolutely no substantial evidence behind it, so don’t quote me. Seriously, don’t quote me.
