Last week at the Tokyo Game Show, Sony announced that Muramasa: The Demon Blade would be released on the Vita. Previously a Wii exclusive, Muramasa gained a strong following thanks to its highly stylized visuals and rewarding action RPG gameplay. Obviously, the fact that it’s being ported to the Vita is certainly a reason to be stoked.

While details are currently under wraps regarding Muramasa on the Vita, it’s become clear that this won’t be a simple port job. A translated report on Gematsu indicates that the game will include brand new DLC. The add-on content will be titled The Mysterious Legend of the Genroku Era.

That’s about all that’s known about the Muramasa DLC thus far. The game is due out for the Vita in Japan on March 28. Still no word on when we’ll be getting the game in North America.
