The popular series of Mass Effect games will be compiled into one set this November, announced EA. Mass Effect Trilogy will take all three of the BioWare-developed titles and include them in one box full of sci-fi action-RPG bliss.

The collection is currently scheduled to land on the Xbox 360 and PC on November 6. PlayStation 3 owners will also get Mass Effect Trilogy, but “at a later date.” Hey, a lot of folks have gone this long without playing the first game — I’m certain a little while longer won’t be too bad. For PlayStation 3 gamers who already played Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, the first game in the trilogy will be available as a standalone download on the PlayStation Network.

Mass Effect Trilogy will be available for $59.99 come launch. For me, this means I’ll finally get to play Mass Effect, which I’ve put off for long enough.
