Have you been playing Borderlands 2? If so, have you experienced the rare yet nasty bug that wipes your Badass rank, tokens, and skins and then doesn’t allow you to regain then? It turns out this is quite the issue for Borderlands 2 players, but developer Gearbox Software is looking into the matter and hopes to figure out a solution.

“Thanks for all the reports and specific details, folks,” wrote Gearbox Community Manager Chris Faylor. “Our engineers are looking into this, and the information you’ve provided has proven to be a great resource while we investigate. At the moment, it seems to be a fairly rare issue and we’ll keep you updated on when we resolve it.”

The bug doesn’t seem to discriminate, as players enjoying Borderlands 2 across the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC have reported issues. It’s a shame that such a brilliant game is suffering from this glaring glitch. Here’s hoping that it doesn’t affect too many gamers moving forward, and that a fix is promptly released.
