In 2010, Deadly Premonition provided a chilling experience for Xbox 360 owners. The game would go on to be loved by many while simultaneously putting off a lot of players. Currently, a PlayStation 3 version is only available in Japan, but that’s about to change.

Rising Star Games has announced that it will bring Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut to PlayStation 3 in North America. The game is planned for a 2013 release, and it will include several new features and enhancements.

The upcoming updated version of Deadly Premonition will feature updated controls, new scenarios, updated visuals, and story-based DLC. It should be interesting seeing how the game fares with this new edition come 2013.
