The NeoGeo X is due out on December 6, and it will arrive in two models. The regular version will include the handheld NeoGeo and 20 preloaded games for $129.99. The NeoGeo X Gold, on the other hand, will come bundled with both the portable and home console, as well as a gaming joystick and the 20 games.
Now, though, distributor Tommo and SNK Playmore have announced the NeoGeo X Gold Limited Edition. The system will be available at most retailers including GameStop and Amazon, with the Limited Edition version including a special Ninja Master’s game card.
The NeoGeo X Gold Limited Edition can pre-ordered starting now. Personally, I’m still not sold on the system, but I certainly think it’s a pretty cool item for diehard retro gamers who prefer a tangible NeoGeo system as opposed to the widely available digital options that are out there.
