Jump magazine has reported that Tales of Hearts R is being developed for the Vita in Japan. Currently, that’s the only region the game is confirmed for, and the chances of it being released outside Japan are fairly slim for the most part.
According to a report on Siliconera, Tales of Hearts R will feature full voice acting, improved visuals, new story events, and a new character named Calcedony Arkham. The game is due out sometime in spring 2013.
Tales of Hearts was originally released on the DS, and it remained exclusive to Japan. Because of that fact, it’s likely Vita owners in North America will never see the game get localized. Here’s hoping that’s not the case.
But it probably will be the case.
