Oddworld Munch's Oddysee

Developer Just Add Water has announced that Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee will be available on the PlayStation Network later this month. The game will be priced at $9.99, and though no specific release date has been confirmed, it’ll likely be sometime within the next two weeks because, well, that’s how much is left of December.

Munch’s Oddysee originally launched in 2001 as an Xbox exclusive. Prior to that, the game was announced for the PlayStation 2. Obviously, that didn’t end up happening, but now that it’s headed to the PlayStation 3, Sony loyalists who missed out on the game the first time around will finally get to check it out — and in HD to boot!

In addition to Munch’s Oddysee dropping in a couple of weeks, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is due out for the Vita on December 18. So much Oddworld, so little time. If you’re a fan of the series and are looking forward to these HD remakes, you’ve got your work cut out for you starting next week.

Hope it's of the same quality as SW. That thing impressed me with the amount of work they did to it.
