Developer MonkeyPaw Games is currently working its charm with Sony to bring Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return to the PlayStation Network in North America, reports Destructoid. The game, which is already available on the European PlayStation Network, is the follow-up to the heralded PlayStation original Tomba!

In addition to being available on PlayStation 3, MonkeyPaw hopes to have the game playable on the Vita as soon it’s released. There are undoubtedly a number of retro gaming enthusiasts who would be more than happy to take this successful and superb sequel on the go with them.

The original Tomba! was released on the PlayStation Network this past summer. It received a warm welcome from its old school fan base, and newer players got the chance to check it out for the first time. Let’s hope Tomba! 2 arrives in North America sooner rather than later.
