On today’s Nintendo Direct, two new titles were announced that are in development for the Wii U. One of those titles is a new Yoshi game being developed by the team behind Kirby’s Epic Yarn. The game will share a similar aesthetic to Kirby’s Epic Yarn as seen above but will harness the new power of the Wii U. Takashi Tezuka, who has worked on Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi’s Story will be assisting in the development of the game in a supervisory role.
You can see some early footage in in the Nintendo Direct from today or wait until E3 when we should be able to get our hands on it.
