Publisher Deep Silver yesterday revealed that it had reached quite the milestone with Dead Island. How big is this milestone? Well, it turns out that the multiplatform zombie-killing tropical adventure has officially reached five million sales.
Dead Island launched back in 2011, and it goes without saying that turning out five million units is quite the impressive feat. Deep Silver has factored these figures into its projected sales for the upcoming Dead Island: Riptide, which will continue the story from the first game, and it hopes to once again deliver a sales success.
Are you one of the five million individuals who got a copy of Dead Island? If so, what did you think of the game? Will you be checking out Riptide when it launches in late April?
