Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Free-to-Play

Naughty Dog has officially begun its experimentation with the free-to-play market. Today, Uncharted 3 multiplayer becomes a free download on the PlayStation Network, with several microtransactions already in place to unlock extra content.

If you’re just in it to play, you’ll be able to do so at no charge, though you’ll have to deal with a level cap of 15. A payment of $4.99 will raise the level cap to 25, meanwhile shelling out $19.99 will remove the cap entirely.

Co-op Arena can be unlocked for $9.99, and Co-Op Adventure can be played for $11.99. If you see yourself investing a lot of money, however, you can always opt to purchase the entire Uncharted: Game of the Year title for $39.99.
