1 Million Reportedly Playing Tomb Raider

The recent reimagining of the Tomb Raider franchise is off to a hot start. According to Crystal Dynamics Global Brand Director Karl Stewart, 1 million players have already entered the dark world of Lara Croft’s grisly fight for survival.
“Wow, 1m gamers playing in less than 48hrs! @tombraider fans, you’re AMAZING Hearing some stores are running low..more copies are on the way!” tweeted Stewart.
It should be noted that it’s likely that 1 million copies of Tomb Raider have been sold as opposed to played considering a lot of folks tend to put games in their backlog soon after purchasing them. That said, 1 million sales in just two days is still mighty impressive.
