Ace Attorney 5 is set to launch on the 3DS later this year in Japan and North America, and it will star a female attorney by the name of Kizuki Kokone. The new protagonist will have a special ability, as she’ll be able to see right through people based on what they’re feeling.

As translated by Siliconera, Kizuki will attempt to solve different cases by reading characters’ emotions. She’s essentially looking into what’s being called the Heart’s Testimony with her unique ability, the Heart Scope. She’ll use the Heart Scope to tell whether the individuals on trial are telling the truth or not.

Of course, Kizuki and her interesting new ability won’t take up the entire spotlight. Capcom has also confirmed that Apollo Justice will be making a return in Ace Attorny 5.
