Sega has revealed that it will close down its Australia-based offices in the not-too-distant future. The company made its intentions clear in a statement to Kotaku, saying that it would shut down Sega Studios Australia “later this year.”
Previously known as The Creative Assembly, the developer was responsible for the Total War series among other titles. Here at eXophase, we’d like to wish the very best to everyone involved with the studio.
This past summer Sega announced that it was going through a restructuring phase. At the time, the company was closing down several European offices and stated that it would focus on digital content.
