Need for Speed: Underground Reboot Rumored

Today EGM received what looks to be a redesigned new logo for a potential Need for Speed: Underground reboot. As of right now we only have this supposed leaked logo to suggest the title is in development. It does however fall in line with Criterion’s recent remakes of some classic NFS titles.
It’s unclear whether this would be a remake of the first or second title in the Underground series. Need for Speed: Underground 2 was the first in the series to introduce the open-world racing environment back in 2004. It’s been nearly 10 years since we last saw Underground, so is it time for a reboot? I hope so.
