Evidence showing that the latest Mortal Kombat title will land on the PC in the foreseeable future has surfaced. According to DSOGaming, which previously reported on hints that a PC version was in development, a Steam graph shows that there are individuals playing the reboot, which points to some possible playtesting.

Additionally, Mortal Kombat has been added to Steam’s registry system. This includes all of the game’s achievements. Yep, what was previously nothing more than a hot rumor appears to be turning into fact.

I absolutely adored Mortal Kombat when I played it a couple of years ago at launch. Its mix of streamlined mechanics and addictive gameplay make it a great title for both casual fighting game fans and hardcore enthusiasts. If you’ve yet to play it and you fancy yourself a PC gaming aficionado, I’d suggest you keep a lookout for this version.
