Batman Voice Actor Not Returning for Arkham Origins

Reports from NAG Magazine (via Batman News) indicate that Kevin Conroy will not be reprising his role as the voice of the Dark Knight in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins. This is due to the fact that the prequel will star a younger Bruce Wayne as Batman, so Warner Bros. decided that it would be more fitting to have a younger voice actor for the famed hero of Gotham.
It goes without saying that Conroy has become something of a legend among Batman fans. The voice actor took on the role in the awesome animated series from the ’90s and several movies. He also starred in the first two Arkham games and in the recently released Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Warner Bros. has yet to reveal the name of the new Batman voice actor.
