Stealth-horror game Manhunt will soon be available to download on the PlayStation Network. The game, which first launched in 2003, will make its way to the PlayStation 3 as a PlayStation 2 Classic for $9.99 on May 14.
Manhunt generated a ton of controversy during its initial run due to its intense violence. When you stripped away all of the gore, however, you got a pretty damn good stealth game. It was also pretty scary, and it’s actually the first game to ever give me a good old-fashioned jump scare.
In addition to Manhunt, Rockstar Games announced that The Warriors will be downloadable on the PlayStation Network down the road, as well. In case you’re wondering, like Manhunt, that’s another great game, and it developed the story of the cult film quite impressively.
