Earlier today gaming news sites across the good ol’ internet began reporting about a supposed PlayStation 4 trailer from Sony. The teaser turned out to be fake, but man, is it ever awesome!

In the video we get a lot of close-ups of people’s faces, and the famed square, triangle, circle, and X button icons are seen in their eyes. It’s pretty cool stuff, and we even get a glimpse of a console. Oh, if only this would’ve been a real trailer.

The whole thing is kind of reminiscent of Sony’s PlayStation 2 marketing, so suffice it to say that it’s great. It’s cryptically obvious, which makes it a lot of fun. But yeah, it’s fake. In any case, check out the trailer below.
