Sonic Lost World

New info has been revealed regarding the upcoming Sonic Lost World. According to Sega, the story revolves around the unlikely alliance between Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman. After the Blue Blur’s nemesis summons six powerful enemies that eventually turn on him, it’s up to the duo to put a stop to their plans.

Sonic will have access to a number of new moves, and according to Sega, he’ll be able to pull off “dynamic new parkour moves and improved Color Powers.” Considering most of the abilities in Sonic Colors actually enhanced the speed of the game, I’m looking forward to seeing the new moves that will be introduced in this game.

In addition to the single player mode, Lost World will feature some multiplayer modes. While details about this aspect of the game are scarce, Sega did state that there will be a “two player support mode.” I wonder if this is going to be like the two player mode in the Mario Galaxy titles.

As far as exclusive content is concerned, the Wii U version of Lost World will feature tilt controls for some of the Color Powers, and the entire game will be playable on the GamePad screen. The 3DS version will include exclusive Color Powers and Special Stages.

Lost World is due out on Nintendo platforms later this year.
