It took some time, but Max Payne 3 has launched on the Mac App Store. The game is available for $39.99, and if you’re a Mac owner and haven’t played the game but have even the slightest interest in doing so, you should totally check it out.

Max Payne 3 is a brilliant third-person shooter that, despite offering a change of pace from the series’ usual tropes, is still a good old school action experience at heart. Additionally, the game looks great, and the soundtrack is one of the absolute best original scores of this console generation. Also, Max is an awesomely depressing character.

So yeah, play Max Payne 3 if you haven’t already. Hell, this news just makes me want to play it again!
