The folks behind Indie Game: The Movie took to the good ol’ internet today to announce that that Special Edition version of the documentary will be available beginning next week. The movie, which comes in both digital and box set versions, will land on July 24.
The digital version can be downloaded on Steam or on the movie’s official site for $14.99. If you already own the original, you can download the extra content as DLC for $4.99. Not a bad price if you’re going the download route.
The limited edition box set is a bit pricier (obviously). The DVD will run you $59 while the Blu-ray edition will cost $69. These physical editions come bundled with a poster, stickers, 48-page notebook, and more goodies.
Of course, it should be noted that the Special Edition features a whopping 100 extra minutes of bonus footage including interviews, outtakes, and epilogues. So yeah, it’s definitely a pretty sweet package if you dug the movie or any of the games by the dudes involved.
