Borderlands 2

Gearbox Software previously announced that it wasn’t done with Borderlands 2 DLC. OXM is reporting that the studio elaborated during a presentation at PAX Australia, giving moderate details on the oodles of upcoming content for the wildly popular FPS/RPG hybrid.

Expect a level cap increase with the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2. Aside from upping the cap to 72, the content will allow you to increase the game’s challenge. The pack includes the Digistruct Peak Challenge, which stars the awesomely quirky Patricia Tannis along with the vault Hunters as they seek out prospective Crimson Raiders.

Gearbox head honcho also briefly talked about the upcoming Head Hunters packs, the first of which will be T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest. That’s right, the original Vault Hunters’ undead pal will return for another go. According to Pitchford, this will be the first of three total DLC packs in the new season of Borderlands 2 content.

It should be noted that none of this new DLC will be included as part of the current season pass. The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 will run you $5, while the price for subsequent content is still under wraps. You can expect it to launch by Halloween.
