In news that’s likely to surprise hardly anyone, Princess Peach has been confirmed for the upcoming Wii U and 3DS installments of Super Smash Bros. From the looks of it, she’ll utilize a lot of the quirky moves she boasted in previous games. You’ve got the Toad shield, the ass ram, and so on. By the way, “ass ram” is in no way the official name of that move, but it should be.

Aside from Peach, we already know that Luigi and Captain Olimar will be present in the new Smash Bros. Then there are no-brainers like Mario and Link, which we can expect to see more of in the future for sure.

Perhaps it isn’t too necessary for some of these characters to be announced as a lot of them are kind of expected. That said, official reveals are probably in line with series designer Masahiro Sakurai previously mentioning that not all characters from past entries would be present in this upcoming title.
