WayForward Talks About Its Unreleased Silent Hill DS Project
by October 11, 2013 @ 11:31 pm
Developer WayForward recently shared some insight on one of its projects that never saw the light of day. Apparently, the studio briefly worked on a Silent Hill concept for the DS after Konami expressed interest in releasing a handheld entry in the series.
WayForward stated that it conceived this never-released project before work began on 2007’s Contra 4 for the DS. Assets from Silent Hill 2 were used to create the DS demo, which featured James Sunderland from that previous entry.
It’s a shame a Silent Hill game was never released on the DS. Who knows? It could’ve been good!
