Double Dragon Neon - PC

After originally launching on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in 2012, Double Dragon: Neon has now brought its loud, blatant ’80s flair to Steam. That means if you skipped all of the crazy beat ’em up, air guitar, fire dragon nonsense the first time around, you can right that wrong posthaste.

The game features online co-op, letting you take on vicious (and oftentimes goofy) street hooligans. The action is fast-paced and gritty, and special upgrades allow you to alter your character’s abilities. Like, you know, that aforementioned fire dragon. That wasn’t made up — you can actually summon a dragon made out of fire to take out your foes. And having played the game on consoles two years ago, I can attest to how awesome that attack actually is.

Neon is developed by WayForward, with Abstraction Games handling the PC port. The game launched today on Steam under the publishing banner of Midnight City for $9.99.
