Two compilations are making their way from the PlayStation 3 to the Vita this May. The first is God of War Collection, which includes both the Play Station 2 instant hit God of War and its follow-up God of War II. The set will arrive on Sony’s handheld on May 6 for $29.99.

Following suit will be Sly Cooper Collection. This compilation will feature Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. It’s due out on May 27, though the PlayStation Blog doesn’t list a specific price point.

If you’re in the market for some older gems on the Vita, it’s hard to argue against these two upcoming collections. The first two God of War games are arguably the best of the bunch, and Sly Cooper is just an all-around jovial little platforming series worthy of most people’s time.
