Batman Arkham Knight

The fourth entry in the Arkham series of Batman games is coming. Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to launch for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 14.

Now, if you were bummed out by Batman: Arkham Origins and its overall lack of polish and quality, you’ll be glad to know that Warner Bros. Montreal isn’t handling the new game. Original developer Rocksteady Studios has returned to the series yet again, so perhaps the game’s quality will be worthy of the franchise’s legacy.

News of Arkham Knight first leaked on the Internet after a GAME search indicated the title’s existence. Game Informer would later confirm the game’s development, listing it as its upcoming cover story. A press release sent out by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released more info on Arkham Knight.

Two-Face, Scarecrow, Penguin, and Harley Quinn are Batman’s main antagonists this time around, running rampant across the streets of Gotham City. The latter will be the star of her own challenge maps for individuals who pre-order the game.

Thus far, GameStop is the only retailer listing the October 14 launch date. Check out the official reveal trailer for Arkham Knight below.
