Dark Souls II

Two of 2014’s biggest releases have dropped today. The first is the much awaited sequel to From Software’s popular action-RPG series. Dark Souls II arrives on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, ready to brutalize you and send fear into your heart with its relentless, challenging gameplay.

Also out is the hotly anticipated first-person shooter from developer Respawn Entertainment. Titanfall is now widely available on the Xbox One and PC.

It’s worth noting that not every version of these two titles is currently available. The Steam version of Dark Souls II will land on April 25. Meanwhile Titanfall won’t hit the Xbox 360 until later this month on March 25.

Already both Dark Souls II and Titanfall have received plenty of critical praise, as indicated by the two titles’ high scores on Metacritic, with the former just beating out the latter. User scores are a bit lower for both games, but they still reflect the higher level of praise toward Dark Souls II.
