Konami Partners with Sony BMG

Konami’s Digital Entertainment division announced today that they have teamed up with Sony BMG to digitally distribute Konami’s library of songs from its diversified catalog of video games. Under the agreement, Konami’s music will be available for download from major online retailers such as iTunes and Rhapsody as well as a number of mobile service providers.

This should really help bring video game music into the mainstream. Few years ago, the only real way to get gaming soundtracks was to import them from Japan. Thankfully, things are changing with companies such as Square-Enix and now Konami bringing game music online.
