Next-Gen Riddick Revisit Confirmed

Starbreeze has confirmed that it is working on a next-gen remake of the highly-acclaimed Xbox first person-shooter, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay.
Titled Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, the game should be available for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year.
Though in essence a remake of the original, Dark Athena kicks things up a notch with close to 50 percent all-new content for players to sink their teeth into, all of which takes place on board the scavenger ship Dark Athena. In addition to this new content, the game will also feature an online multiplayer mode and developer commentary.
