TGS 06: Sony demos PS3 interface

Just recenty Sony’s Phil Harrison shown off the PS3’s media functions including photo viewing, chat, video and web browsing. Some very small tidbits of information were revealed such as there will be a ‘friends’ tab’ where messages can be sent to friends via an on screen keyboard or USB board. NBA 07 was briefly on display running at 1080p, adding to a few others in the respective resolution on the show floor including Ridge Racer and Gran Turismo HD.
