Myst Heads To DS

It’s safe to say most of us have played Myst, or at least heard of it. Myst was a slow-paced puzzle game released for the PC back in 1993. Since then, the game has sprawled numerous sequels, compilations, and remakes.
Now Midway Games plans to bring the original Myst experience to the Nintendo DS, complete with an all-new age, the Rime Age. The game itself will feature remastered sound effects and video clips, as well as newly created graphic sets for the DS-exclusive Rime Age.
This rendition of Myst has also been re-written from the ground-up, specifically with the Nintendo DS in mind. That being said, we expect the developers to make full use of the DS’s touch screen for Myst’s point and click gameplay elements.
Myst DS is due out this November in Europe; no word on a US release date however.
